Harvest Church welcomes little
ones between the ages of 0-5yrs old in our Nursery, Toddler and Preschool
department. Our classrooms are staffed with parents and volunteers. Please
take the time to check-in your child before service and receive a Collection
Card. We have implemented a simple yet effective security system for
your peace of mind. We will only release your child to the individual
who bears the Collection Card that matches your child's nametag. Our staff
will be happy to explain this system to you. You can relax knowing your
children are in good hands and will remain there until you collect them
after service. We will be happy to provide a Parents Information Brochure
that will familiarize you with our policies and services. To keep you
fully informed we will also provide you with a Today In Class Report.
You will be updated on the care your child received during class and any
incidents or praise worthy actions that occurred.
For newborns and sleeping babies we have a special room equipped
with crib beds, soft sheets and fleece blankets and a rocking chair.
This room provides a place of peace and quiet away from the bustle of
the energetic little ones! Your baby can be rocked to sleep or comforted
by the sound of worship or instrumental music, undisturbed while you
enjoy our Sunday Morning Service.
Little Praisers (0 -17 months). We have a large room filled with
an array of toys. Your inquisitive little one will find lots to capture
their attention and imagination. We have a highchair for feeding time,
a playpen, and bouncy seats. For those starting to explore their surroundings
we also have walkers. Parents will be happy to know we have implemented
a mandatory diaper change policy! Your baby will be handed back to you
clean and dry before the end of service no matter how many times they
have been changed during class.
Kids of The Kingdom (18 months - 3 years old). We like to teach
children of all ages the Word of God through the bible stories and puppet
skits found in our Faith Roots curriculum. This shared room is
also equipped with a television and VCR for some extra Godly entertainment!
We even have a large indoor Jungle Gym for those who love to climb.
Faith Builders (4 - 5 years old). We have a wonderful bible curriculum
to teach them the Word of God. The Faith Roots material encourages your
child to learn and even memorize scripture. Your children will: learn
about bible characters that provide an example for them to follow; hear
how fictitious characters deal with various challenges by applying the
Word of God; Focus their imagination on Godly principles through fun
stories and puppet skits and give their personal feedback to review
questions after the lesson. They will come home with a summary of the
lesson colored in during their craft time. Parents are encouraged to
review this material with their child during the week.
In all departments we provide crackers and juice for snack time. We
also have private bathroom facilities for the children. For those potty
training we have step stools and a potty seat cover.
